If you have already clocked in a few days exploring the Sumeru Region, you might notice some parts on the map that are locked.

It goes without saying that unlocking locations in this game requires you to do the world quests and progress through the story. In Sumeru However, Quests branch out into different questlines and if you don’t know what quests to prioritize, then these areas will remain locked until you do them.

How to Unlock Missing Sumeru Areas in Genshin Impact

You start by teleporting at the exit of Gandharva Ville. A world quest will appear. Just follow the marker towards it. Start the Aranyaka: Part 1 Woodland Encounter and continue with that quest line.

The World of Aranara Quest

Do this until you unlock part 2. This would branch off to different quests. Do the World of Aranara Quest until you get to the quest line “Play the Rhythm of the Great Dream in front of the strange stone”.

Activate Statue of the Seven in Aranara

This will send you to the World of the Aranara. From here, head on to the nearest Stone of the Seven. After that, you will then unlock the hidden area in Sumeru.
