Fortnite – How to Get the New Legendary Wookiee Bowcaster Gun

Fortnite has recently released a new chapter and season, which means a whole lot of content has been added to the game. With the Star Wars theme that the game is featuring at the moment, there are obviously going to be a lot of references to the beloved franchise sprinkled all throughout it. Here is a quick guide on how to get that bowcaster that Wookiees usually use in combat!

In order to get one of these new weapons, simply drop to the northwest of Outlaw Oasis or to the southeast of Crime City and look for a shootout between storm troopers and Chewbacca. All you need to do is help Chewy by killing the storm troopers who are fighting him.

We are unsure if this event can spawn in other locations of the map, but these two are the known ones so far. If he is not in one spot, check the other to see if the event is happening there. If you still cannot find it, it is entirely possible that other players in the lobby have done it before you.

Once the shootout is over, Chewbacca will celebrate for a brief moment before dropping a legendary bowcaster on the ground, which you are free to take. It is a fairly powerful weapon with infinite ammo, and if you are good at aiming it, you can destroy people in just around two shots.

And that is pretty much everything you need to know in order to get it. Chewy can follow you around and drop other supplies too, and he will be using his own bowcaster to further increase your damage output.
