One of its appealing features is that each player’s main objective in Escape From Tarkov might differ dramatically. Each gameplay session, known as a raid, is not just about killing other players like in PUBG or Fortnite. The pursuit of loot and its acquisition is equally significant.

Finding a container and waiting for your character to finish inspecting it to show the accessible contents is all that is required to loot it. H

owever, not every container is the same. Weapons or enormous amounts of stuff, like medical supplies, are probably in large crates. You’ll be able to distinguish between the crates that can contain weapons and those that can contain other stuff once you’ve become sufficiently accustomed to the game.

Getting Items

Some of your loot, such as healing supplies, survival goods, weapons, and ammunition, are immediately useful. However, other items, such as electronics, must be delivered to the proper individuals without the aid of a raid.

Generally speaking, there are three things you can do with these items:

  • Trade them to a Dealer NPC.
  • Give them to a Dealer to complete specific missions you may have taken on.
  • Sell them at the flea market.

Items like pliers, keys, screwdrivers, and many more are worth a lot of money.

You can get anything you could need by bartering with the Dealer NPCs, including firearms, bigger backpacks, weapon modifications, medical supplies, and anything else. Like everything else involving the Dealers, bartering depends on your loyalty to that Dealer.

By completing tasks for that Dealer, you can raise it and expand your bartering possibilities. The list of items you can purchase with currency from the Dealers also grows as your level of loyalty rises. Remember that sticking with one Dealer can make it harder to stick with another.

As previously noted, accepting quests from Dealers will make you more loyal while also earning you some precious prize items. Similar to typical trading, certain quests ask you to turn in particular things. Many ask you to kill particular NPC and player targets. The game’s primary campaign is now progressing through the Dealer quests until a proper tale campaign is implemented later.

You’ll do all of your other deal-making at the flea market. Take your item to the flea market and post your pricing there for other players to see whether you have something the Dealer doesn’t want or an item more valuable than the Dealer’s price.

The number of offers you can submit at once is determined by your reputation score, which is based on the number of trades you have completed and canceled. Your reputation score will be used to track your trading history.
