Just pay up to buy the car and it’s all yours, you’re done here… is what we wish we could say, but some punk has stolen your newly bought vehicle. This will start the new “Shape of A Pony” job.
Shape of A Pony Quest
Your first step is to follow the quest marker on your map, which will take you to the last known position of your rightfully owned car.
Approach the location and Johny Silverhand will point out a familiar-looking corpse.
Inspect this familiar corpse to get a conversation log, as well as a GPS Hash. A new quest marker will be added to your map once the GPS Hash is scanned.
Just as before, take a leisurely drive towards the next location marked on your map.
Approach the shack that the quest marker leads you to and get ready for combat; a group of 4 punks is waiting for you!
Take them out and loot the corpse of yet another Johny Silverhand doppelganger. You’ll get another conversation log and, more importantly, the key to your Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet!
Enter the shack to find your car, then hop on. It’s all yours, this time for real!
Also remember to message El Capitan letting him know you’ve repossessed your car, which completes the “Shape of a Pony” quest. Check out our update 2.1 complete overview to speedrun finding all secrets and easter eggs!
