You’ll able to visit the new Dogtown area as part of Cyberpunk 2077’s big Phantom Liberty expansion, which even lets you get a new apartment.

This downtrodden apartment needs some elbow grease before it’s up to standard, though. The water seems to not be running, so you can’t use the shower!

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to fix your shower in the Dogtown apartment in Update 2.1. Speaking of, make sure to check out our complete overview of Update 2.1 as well!

Water pipes are dry...

As soon as you reach the apartment and scan the pipes, V will mention that they’re completely dry despite being functional. Seems there has been no water going through the pipes for a while now!

The most likely cause for this might be the water pump, which might be broken or just turned off. To find the water pump, you’ll need to follow the pipes back to their source.

The first hallway to the right

The easiest way to find it is to enter the apartment and turn to your right. The red arrow in the image shows you the way, just in case!

Water pump location

Next, walk to the very end of the dimly lit hallway and turn to your right once again.

You’ll find the water pump next to the wall, behind some boxes and other random stuff. The place is a bit of a mess, honestly…

Fix the pump

Either way, just choose to fix the water pump and V will get it started. The pump is actually pumping now, so you should be getting running water for your shower.

V takes a shower at the Dogtown Apartment

So there you have it, it seems someone had just turned off the water pump for whatever reason. Anyway, you can now take as many showers as you want at your new Dogtown apartment!
