Best Agent for Players who want to Save Up
The number of resources available in a gacha game like this will always be limited. So if you want to save up and go for a new agent that will be released in the future then Nekomiya Mana is the perfect choice for you. She is an S rank agent with a Psychical attribute.

Best Agents for Players going for Zhu Yuan
Zhu Yuan is an S rank agent with Ether attribute. A lot of players will try to pull her and if you are one of those players then you want to look for agents that have an anomaly fighting style or those that can apply stun.
Agents like Grace Howard (anomaly), Von Lycaon (stun) and Koleda Belobog (stun) synergize pretty well with Zhu Yuan. Other than those agents, Nekomiya Mana is also a good choice.
Best Agent for Players going for Ellen Joe
The official character teaser for Ellen Joe just dropped and you can tell by the reaction of fans that she is going to be a fan-favorite. She is an S rank agent with Ice attribute who is capable of dealing a lot of damage which is why she is worth pulling.
If you decided to go for Ellen Joe then Von Lycaon is a perfect combination for her. Lycaon is also an S rank agent with Ice attribute and is capable of applying stun.
With Lycoan’s stun and Ellen’s damage, you will be able to defeat enemies before they even have a chance to recover from the stun.
Best Agent for Players looking for Longevity
If you do not care too much about completing the Hollow Zero event and would rather focus on the longevity of your account (such as in 6 months or a year) then Grace Howard is a pretty solid choice.
She is an S rank agent and the only anomaly agent besides Piper Wheel. Due to having an Electric attribute, she has decent team combinations available. All of this combined means that there is a high chance she will still be relevant after a year.
Best Fun-to-play | Hard-to-master Agent
If you are one of those players who are looking for a challenge and would like an agent that requires a bit of mastery then do not look further than Soldier 11.
She is a Fire attribute S rank agent who is a bit tricky to play and would require you to learn enemy patterns and time your attacks well. Playing as her will keep you on your toes and engaged throughout the battles.
Best Agent for new ARPG Players
If you have not played ARPG gacha games before (such as Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail or Wuthering Waves) then I suggest you start out with Rina (actual name Alexandrina Sebastiane).
She is an easy character to play and is capable of moving around the map pretty fast. With her, you do not have to worry too much about learning enemy patterns, etc. and can pretty much cheese your way through the fights.
Rina is an S rank agent so if you are looking for an A rank agent then Billy Kid is a good alternative.
