When Does Mortal Kombat 12 Release
While there’s no set day-and-month release yet, Mortal Kombat 12 is officially expected to launch sometime in 2023.
The information comes to us from a bit of a weird source, however. There’s no fanfare or special announcement from the developers at NetherRealm.
In fact, they are as shocked as we are about this announcement!
The game’s expected release window was basically said as a throwaway comment during a Warner Bros earnings call.
As you may know, Warner Bros are the current publisher of the Mortal Kombat franchise.
In their earning calls, they commented that the game is set to release in 2023. It’s also expected to be one of their biggest releases of the year, at least financially speaking.
It seems fans of the fighting game genre can look forward to a very strong year! Mortal Kombat 12 will release alongside Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 which are also planned for 2023.
Hopefully, we will have more news and information to share about Mortal Kombat 12 soon. Since the cat is out of the bag, it’s likely that the marketing will kick up soon.
