The Zonaite is one of the many materials in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Normally, you can obtain it by mining Zonaite deposits in the Sky Islands.
While the material isn’t all that common, it has an even rarer version which is called the Large Zonaite. Unlike normal Zonaite, you won’t be able to find it by mining.
Instead, it can only be found in certain locations. In this guide, we’ll show you the location of one of them early on.
Where to Find Large Zonaite in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
To get started, you want to make your way to the Nachoyah Shrine which is in the lower section of the Great Sky Island. Simply fast travel to the location shown in the image above.
As soon as you get there, move forward to exit the shrine. Just up ahead will two stone gliders. Use your Ultrahand ability to grab one of them and place it on the trench nearby.
Hop onto the glider and it starts to slide off the ramp and all the way to the ledge.
Once you’re in the sky, steer the glider to the right and make sure you’re close to the small pond up a hill. Refer to the image above for its location.
Once you’re close enough, jump off the glider and skydive all the way until you reach the pond or the ground near it.
You can either press X to glide or just dive into the water to cushion the fall. Once you’re on the ground, use your Ultrahand to detect the underwater chest nearby.
Drag it into the land and open it to receive a Large Zonaite as a reward.
In case you’re wondering, the Large Zonaite has more power output than a normal Zonaite, which explains its rarity.
