Where to Find the Mighty Zonaite Longsword – Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

You’ll come across a wide variety of weapons that you can use in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While you can purchase most of them from shops, some require you to find them out in the world.

The Mighty Zonaite Longsword is one of them. Unlike most weapons, you have to go out of your way to obtain it from a chest that’s located in a certain area.

In this guide, we’ll show you where the Mighty Zonaite Longsword’s exact location is.

Mighty Zonaite Longsword’s Location in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Start by heading to the location on the map shown in the image above. This is slightly northwest of Gerudo Canyon Pass in the Gerudo Highlands.

Once you get there, you want to head south and make your way up the hill where the Rakakudaj Shrine is located. Approach the sigil and examine it to start the trial.

Shortly after, a beam will appear at the shrine that will point toward a location at a certain distance.

All you have to do is follow the location at which the beam is pointed toward. You’ll have to go down the small waterfalls to get there.

You will eventually reach the end of the beam which is on a pile of massive stones. Right in the middle is a green glowing stone.

What you need to do is carry it all the way back to the shrine. However, you don’t have to do it on foot. Just up ahead is a broken wagon that you can reassemble.

To do so, use your Ultrahand ability to reassemble the broken wagon and attach the pieces together. After that, grab the green stone and place it on top of the wagon.

With the wagon fixed, ride it all the way up the waterfalls and into the shrine.

It might take a while due to how steep the falls are, but the wagon can fully climb to the top without any problem.

Once you reach the shrine, grab the stone and get close to the shrine. A brief cutscene will then play showing the green stone turning into a huge boulder with a portal in the middle.

Claiming the Sword

Go through the portal to find yourself inside Rauru’s Blessing. Just up ahead is a chest that you can open to receive the Mighty Zonaite Longsword.

According to the description, the Mighty Zonaite Longsword is made of Zonaite, and the cool part is that you can greatly increase its attack power by resonating it with Zonai devices.

It also has a cool-looking appearance with a golden hilt and a blade that looks like static electricity.
