Monster Hunter Wilds: Capture an Ember Rufflizard Location (Dareel’s Research Report Cont.)

Monster Hunter Wilds has a lot of side quests to complete, and some of them require you to just catch a single small critter out in the wild. In this guide, we will very quickly show you how to get an Ember Rufflizard for the Dareel’s Research Report Cont. side quest, which will have you catching one of these little critters for the sake of science.

Capture an Ember Rufflizard Location (Dareel’s Research Report Cont.)

Simply put, you can find one of these at the Oilwell Basin region. All you need to do is travel to area 2, near a smokenut spawn. Refer to the map image below to see where you have to check.

Once you get here, you should be able to see one of these Ember Rufflizards crawling around the ground, they appear to be typical lizards with green glowing parts all around their body. Just like the other research reports, whip out your capture net and throw it at one of these to finish the step.

From there, just return to Dareel to turn it in and complete this side quest. That should be all there is to it. You will receive a handful of resources and some guild points as a reward for your efforts. If you can’t seem to find any of the critters there, make sure to fast travel back and forth or rest at camp to try and force a respawn.
