21 articlesThe RPG-7 is one of the strongest weapons in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. After all, it is an anti-tank weapon! It blows things up good, that’s for sure. While you can basically not miss this weapon at all, you can actually get it earlier than required for the story. This lets you play around with it a bit longer, should you wish to completely ignore the game’s stealth. Read on, we’ll tell you where to find this weapon.
RPG-7 Weapon Location | Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater
You can only get the RPG-7 in the Krasnogorje Mountainside. This is a main story area, and completely unmissable. Once you’re in that area, you need to make your way to the small weapon shack marked on the map above. It’s on the eastern side of the area, near the very top of the mountain.
Simply drop down into that small weapon shack and you should see a very large weapon box there. Touch it to add the RPG-7 to your arsenal! There are also other goodies in the shack, of course, so don’t forget to pick those up while you’re at it.
Aside from this location, there are no other places where you can freely get the RPG-7. That said, you’ll get one automatically as well during a sequence later in the game. It’ll be required for progress at that point, so the game will give it to you if you missed it at the Krasnogorje Mountainside.

However, that’ll be a very scripted sequence and you won’t get to play around with it much! If you want to use it as a regular weapon, we recommend just grabbing it at the Krasnogorje Mountainside.
Nonetheless, that’s the location for the RPG-7 in Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Unlike the Mosin-Nagant tranquilizer sniper, the RPG-7 is practically unmissable, as it’s forced on you late in the story. Still, it’s neat to get it early so that you can blow up some guards with it!
