AndrésThe new “Back to the Shroud” update for Enshrouded has added new Artifacts spread to various locations across all of the Hollow Halls dungeons.
These Artifacts are collectibles. They don’t really provide much of a gameplay benefit, but they’re required for some of the new quests. However, their primary use is just simply having them up for display on your base as decoration! They’re nice little tokens to reward avid explorers, basically.
In this guide, we’ll tell you the locations for all of the 9 Artifacts spread across all of Enshrouded’s Hollow Halls.
All Artifacts Locations in the Hollow Halls | Back to the Shroud Update
Revelwoods
The Hollow Halls in the Springslands biome don’t have any Artifacts, so we will be starting with the one in the Revelwoods. You can find it on the location marked on the map above, far to the west of the Revelwoods Ancient Spire.
Speaking of the Revelwoods biome, we also covered how to find all of the Fossils in it!
It’s also worth noting that we will try to find all the Artifacts in sequence. We’ll start from the beginning of the Hollow Halls for each region and go deeper in while collecting the Artifacts. However, we won’t be covering how to deal with all the puzzles and enemies in these Hollow Halls. After all, it’s recommended to look for the Artifacts after you’ve already completed these Hollow Halls once.
Now, without further ado, let’s dive in!
Dark Crystal Cluster
As soon as you head into the Hollow Halls, go straight ahead through the hall and up either flights of stairs. You will end up in front of a large gate, and open it to enter a massive hall.
Once you’re inside the hall, you simply have to keep heading straight ahead. Keep going until you reach a ledge.
When you reach the ledge, jump down.
Turn around after jumping and you will find another large gate.
Open the gate and go to your left to find a short hallway leading to a dead end.
The trick is, it’s not a dead end at all! Interact with the fake wall to open it and reveal a secret chamber.
Invite yourself into the chamber and turn to your right to find the Dark Crystal Cluster on top of a small altar.
Large Dark Crystal
Leave the secret chamber where you found the previous Artifact and go back through the large gate. This time, go up the stairs to your right in the large hall.
Keep going straight ahead through the hallway until you reach a large pile of bones, then turn to your left and go up the stairs.
Look at the wall on the left side as you go up the stairs. You should notice a pair of nooks with large jars, check the second one you see.
Break the jar inside the nook to reveal a fake wall hidden behind the jar!
Interact with the fake wall to reveal a secret chamber, then interact with a second fake wall on the southern side of the chamber.
Go into the second chamber and turn to your right to find the Large Dark Crystal on a small altar.
Sparkling Dark Crystal
Leave the chamber and backtrack back to the massive hall from earlier. This time, you want to take the central stairway at the western end of the hall. It should be to your right as you retrace your steps.
Go up the large stairs and then keep going straight ahead through the hallway.
Pass by the checkpoint to activate it, then continue heading straight to the west.
Take the first left corner you can here.
Then, continue by going up the muddy stairs. You’ll walk very slowly, but you can somewhat regain speed by jumping frequently.
Once you’re up the muddy stairs, take the first corner to the right. You’ll be heading west once again if you check your compass.
Go straight ahead and get to the ledge with the floating Rune.
Jump off the ledge and glide into the large crypt, heading toward the large flame ahead of you.
Then, check the western crypt wall. It’ll be directly behind the flame you glided towards. Walk towards that wall and check it to find an entrance on the ground level.
It’s really dark here, so we recommend pulling out a light source if you have it. Anyway, just inspect the western wall to reveal a new path.
Go down the stairs until you see a large tomb, then go to your left and enter the opening in the wall. Jump over the dirt mound there.
Check the wall in the corner with the dirt mound to find yet another fake wall!
Just like always, enter the secret chamber and turn to your right to find the Sparkling Dark Crystal. That’s the last of the Artifacts locations in this Hollow Halls dungeon in Enshrouded!
Nomad Highlands
The Hollow Halls in this region are located to the northwest of the Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire. You’ll have to head west as you hug the mountains to the north of the region.
Just so you know, we’ve also covered the locations of all Fossil in the Nomad Highlands and the Kindlewastes as well.
Bejeweled Golden Urn
Just like with all Hallow Halls dungeons, you first want to go straight ahead and up the stairs until you reach a gate.
Go through the gate and then keep going forward, heading to the north. Don’t stop going forward until you go down a large flight of stairs.
Once you see the large flight of stairs, follow them going down. Take the left corner as soon as you reach the bottom of the stairs.
Keep going through the hallways heading west until you reach a massive hole in the ground.
Now, this can be tricky to see due to how dark the area is, but you want to jump onto the second platform on the way down in the hole. It’s the one where the arrow is pointing at in the image above.
Once you land on the platform, check the southern wall to find a hole in the wall that you can go through. Since you can, you should go through it!
Turn to your right after going through the hole and go to the western end of the chamber. Check the corner to your left to find the Bejeweled Golden Urn.
Inscribed Golden Urn
Leave the chamber and go back to the big hole. Jump all the way down to the very bottom, using your glider when you’re about to land to prevent fall damage.
As you approach the ground, glide toward the northwestern corner of the room. You should spot an opening with a lot of rubble.
Pull out your trusty pickaxe and start getting rid of all of the annoying rubble here!
You should eventually reveal a fake wall, which you’re most likely to notice due to the “Open” prompt showing up.
Interact with the fake wall to reveal the secret chamber and its Artifact.
Forboding Golden Urn
Time for the final Artifact in this dungeon! Leave the chamber and return to the large room with lava. This time you want to head straight to the east.
Go into the large hallway on the eastern side of the room. You should reach a massive gate near the checkpoint at the end of the hallway.
Open the gate to reveal yet another hallway. Go straight ahead until you see the first corner to the left.
Take the corner to the left and go forward to reach a flight of stairs going down into a large hole.
Jump down the hole and glide straight ahead towards the northern exit in the room below.
As soon as you go through the doorway, turn to your left to find a bunch of pots and jars in the southwestern corner of the room. Break them all!
Now, that wasn’t pointless destruction, we assure you. Check the wall behind the jars you just broke to find another fake wall! Interact with it to open up the secret chamber.
Go into the chamber to find the Forboding Golden Urn directly in front of you. That’s all the locations for the Artifacts in the Nomad Highlands Hollow Halls in Enshrouded!
Kindlewastes
Finally, the last of the Hollow Halls where you can find the locations for Artifacts in Enshrouded. To get to this one, travel northeast from the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire.
Tome of Agony
As soon as you enter the Hollow Halls dungeon, go straight ahead and up the stairs until you reach a gate. It’s the same layout at the start as all the previous dungeons, after all.
Once you go through the gate and enter the dungeon proper, start going straight forward. Keep heading north until you find a corner to the left.
When you reach the corner, take it and start going west. It’s a long straight path through a massive bone pile, but you just need to keep heading west until you reach a ledge overlooking a gigantic cave.
While on the ledge overlooking the cave, turn to the left to face the southwest.
Jump straight down to the bottom part of the cave, using your glider to prevent fall damage as you land. Do be warned, though, that this section is covered with the Shroud!
As soon as you land, start checking the eastern wall.
You should notice that there’s an obvious fake wall here, which you can interact with to open up a secret chamber.
Quickly head into the chamber and take the ladder going down. Don’t worry too much about the Shroud, as it will stop affecting you while you’re halfway through the ladder.
You will land on a beam after taking the ladder. Jump down from it into the room below.
Check the eastern section of the room to find the Tome of Agony proudly displayed on a table.
Bound Tome
Right after collecting the previous artifact, turn around to face west and go to the right.
Stand on the pile of bones next to the wall and turn around to face the south. You should see a grappling point on the beam you use to enter the room. Grapple onto it and climb the ladder back up.
Leave the chamber with the ladder and you’ll be back to the Shrouded area from earlier. Use your compass to situate yourself and head north. You can use the path outlined in the image above.
Once you’re next to the large ruins, look for a crumbled part on the wall. Use your jumps to climb up this part.
When you climb up into the ruins, turn to your right and go down the large hallway to the east. Go past the checkpoint until you’re on a ledge overlooking a massive empty cave.
Jump from the ledge and glide going straight forward to the east until you see a platform covered in piles of bones. Land on that platform.
Check the eastern wall on the platform and look for a small hole you can just barely squeeze through.
Go in and follow the linear path until you reach yet another fake wall.
Interact with the wall to open the entrance to a secret room. You’ll find the Bound Tome on the northern part of the room, next to a throne of bones.
Mysterious Tome
At long last, the last of all the locations for Artifacts in the Hollow Halls in the current version of Enshrouded! It’s pretty close to where you got the Bound Tome, too. Right after picking up the Bound Tome, check the northeastern corner of the room. It will be to your right as you face the Bound Tome’s location.
Break down the pots and jars that stand in your way to reveal a fake wall.
Interact with the wall and go inside the secret chamber to find a long winding flight of stairs going down.
Go down the stairs until you get blocked by a skeleton. Break down the annoying skeleton and take the path to the right to enter another chamber.
You’ll find the Mysterious Tome on a table in this tiny chamber, waiting for you to pick it up.
If you’ve followed our guide in order, this is the last Artifact you can find in the Hollow Halls dungeons in Enshrouded. That sure was a lot of work, right? Bring these unique Artifacts back to your base and mount them up on displays as proof of your achievements! Plus, they’re just pretty nice décor.
