There are lots of weapons you can find out in the open world in Tears of the Kingdom, with the Soldier Reaper being one of them.

It’s not a particularly powerful sword, but in the early stages of the game, it’s more than enough to take down most of your enemies.

But to use the sword, you first need to loot it from a chest in a certain location. Let’s find out how you can get your hands on it.

As cool as its name might sound, the Soldier Reaper is just a simple one-handed sword. It does deal decent damage early in the game, so it’s worth getting at least.

To get it, you want to head to the location on the map as shown in the image above. This is on the southwest portion of Great Sky Island.

You’re going to have to fight your way through a couple of Soldier Constructs along the way.

The ones in this area aren’t particularly strong, but just make sure you don’t get cornered as they can be rather annoying to deal with.

Just be careful of one of the Soldier Constructs as it’s also wielding a fused weapon which can deal a lot of damage if you got hit. You can shoot a Fire Fruit at their weapons to make the fight easier.

After dealing with the Soldier Constructs in the area, just proceed to the location of the chest which is just further up ahead.

You’ll see it sitting on the top of a stone pedestal. Simply open it to loot the Soldier Reaper sword.

As mentioned, the Soldier Reaper isn’t particularly strong.

However, as a fused weapon, it does come with a higher attack power compared to normal weapons early on in the game with an attack power of 7.
