Slime Rancher 2 is here for you to bring back the experience of being a rancher on an alien planet. Monomi Park released the second Slime Rancher last September 22, 2022. This has caused players to get excited and curious about the new features of the game. In fact, this includes a big number of new slimes inside the game.

To make your stay in the game worthwhile, and to maximize your work time in being a slime rancher, you must own better quality items and gears. In order to do that, you must learn to use the fabricator.

We are sure that you are all excited about all the new features, so we made this guide for you to understand how to use the fabricator.

How to Use the Upgrade Fabricator in Slime Rancher 2

As usual, better quality items and gears are more efficient when used at work. The same goes for Slime Rancher 2.

The first thing you need to do is to unlock the location of the fabricator. You can unlock it by accessing the stairs on the left side of the Plort Market. Once you go there, you will the Refinery, and next to it is already the Fabricator.

Before you can upgrade any of your items, you have to collect first enough materials that are needed. You can check it by accessing the Fabricator. By hovering on the items, you can see the list of materials on the bottom right.

Once you already have the materials in your inventory, you have to go to the Refinery and shoot the materials into it. Think of it as depositing the materials so that they can work on upgrading it. If you just keep on collecting and not shooting your materials, then you will not be able to upgrade.

Although you can still shoot materials even if it’s not yet the exact amount. To check how many of the materials you are still lacking, simply access the Fabricator and you will see there if you already have enough number of materials. And once you have all the needed materials, select the Upgrade button and wait for the Fabricator to complete the upgrade.
