Epic Games’ new game installment Rumbleverse pits you with 39 other opponents on a map as you duke it out battle royale style.

Playing single-player is enjoyable in itself but playing with a friend is much better. Like they say, twice the company, twice the fun.

Rumbleverse has a duo battle royale mode where you could join in with a friend to do battle. With 3 platforms to choose from, PC, PlayStation 5, and X Box, the number of players in it is bigger, making matches faster to queue up and start.

How to Play Crossplay in Rumbleverse

If you have friends who you want to play with in the game and he is playing on another platform, that’s no problem.

Rumbleverse has Crossplay support and for today, we are going to guide you on how to enable it in the game.

Enable crossplay in the account settings menu

The first thing that you should do is to head on to your options and select the account tab which will be on the top right side of your screen.

On the account settings, you should enable your settings for crossplay. Otherwise, if he is playing on a different platform, you won’t be able to team up and play.

Since you want to play this with a friend on another platform you should add him up to your list if he isn’t added yet.

Start adding Epic friends

If you head over to your friends’ list you would notice that you don’t have friends in the game and there is no way you could type in their in-game names from the friend list.

You add game friends from other Epic game installments. For example, you could add your friends from Fall guys which are also developed by Epic Games, and invite them over.

Switch to another Epic Game and access your friend’s list

To do this, just head on over to your game library and select the game you want to add your friends from.

When you are in the main menu of the game, just access your social link. From there you could search for their name and add them up as Epic friends and head on over to Rumbleverse.

Host or Join a game with your friend

Your friend has to have the game installed and has already logged in for you to play together.

Once your friend accepts the invitation and is currently inside Rumbleverse, you could team up with him by accessing your friends’ list and either invite him or join him and play.
