A7 is the resource you use to make purchases in the Black Market Vendor in Sanctuary. It can be used to buy cosmetics, equipment, and rare weapons like the NS-30 Tranquility.

However, these resources are pretty scarce and hard to get, so if you don’t know where to look for them you might spend weeks trying to get enough.

That’s where we come in. If you have no idea how to get more A7, read on to find out.

How to Get the A7 in PlanetSide 2

A7 can be acquired in 2 different ways. Either via limited-time Alert missions or by decrypting exposed terminals around the world. You have a maximum cap of A7 of 5000, so if you are reaching that point you should think of spending some. They can be very hard to get, and you don’t want to waste opportunities to get more.

Exposed terminals are not the same as the regular terminals you see. They look like small glowing blue spheres, blinking on top of the computers you’ll find. Like this:

Keep in mind that there seems to be a system in place to control A7 gains after a certain point. You will get a lot more daily missions that reward A7 when you are low but after reaching 4500 you won’t see any pop up. However, once you use some, you’ll get missions that reward A7 once more.
