You can get this axe as the reward for Amanda Style’s final side quest, “Going Viral”. This quest can only be started after completing the main story and Amanda’s previous side quests.

How to Unlock Fast Travel in Dead Island 2Apr 21, 2023You start the quest in the house southeast of the Santa Monica Pier where Ezekiel is. Look for Amanda’s Phone on the counter to start the quest.
After listening to the recording on the phone, use the Fast Travel Map to your left and head to Hollywood Boulevard.
Find Amanda in the area and she’ll ask you for help with some stream. She will first require you to turn on the cameras. Just interact with the computer close to where Amanda is.
It seems Amanda has led you into another stupidly dangerous situation, so get ready to fend off waves of zombies!
Head to the red carpet to find your first challenge: a power couple known as TyBecca. They’re a pair of Crushers, so keep your distance from them.
Next, you will have to slay Claritee and Bijou, a pair of fashion icons. Both of them are Screamers, so be careful of their screams making walkers and runners swarm you.
After that, try to catch Amanda at the Romeros stage. However, she won’t be there and you’ll have to fight against the Inferno Crusher Amar Anand and the Firestorm Slobber $irTreble instead.
Halfway There!
She will hint that she’s going to get regular people bitten just for her stream, but you can’t allow it. Start heading inside the theater, following the marker, to find your next foes.
Now, take out a Butcher called Eddie Ortiz and a Slobber called Bill Hoffman. You’re almost done, persevere just a bit more!
Your penultimate foes are the Electric Screamer Grace Chu and the Mutator Nicolas de Leon. Kill them both and then you’ll only have one more zombie to put down: Amanda Styles herself.
Amanda turned into a runner, so she’s not a big threat. Kill her and take the note she dropped.
Now, just head to the computer you used to at the start of this mission and download her video. The quest will complete once the recording finishes playing and the Zom-B-Gon will be automatically added to your inventory.
