Genshin Impact: How to Switch Vanarana to see Aranara NPC

In the Sumeru region in Genshin Impact, you can enter the Dream State, where you can see forest spirits that reside in the region. We are going to show you how to switch between these worlds to interact with the Aranara NPC.

How to Switch Vanarana to see Aranara NPC in Genshin Impact

Vanarana in Sumeru is an area that has two different versions: Reality and Dream. The Aranara are Forest spirits that are only visible in the dream version of the place.

You can switch between the versions by playing the Rhythm of the Great Dream using the Vintage Lyre at a Silapna.

This method can be unlocked by completing the World Quest “The World of Aranara,” a part of the Aranyaka World Quest Series. Keep in mind that the Statue of the Seven in Vanarana is located in the dream version.

Switching Between Reality and Dream

Again, you can only switch versions in Vanarana. To traverse between two realms, teleport to the Statue of the Seven in Vanarana and go southwest to reach the Silapna, the one in the picture above. You need the Vintage Lyre gadget to play the Rhythm of the Great Dream.

Play the notes Fa Mi So Fa Do to enter the dream state. If you want to switch back, just head back to the Silapna and play the notes.

The dream version of Vanarana is dimmer and looks like a place where fairies live, making it a sight to behold.
