The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has just been remastered almost 20 years since the original came out, and it features all of the familiar annoyances that past players had to deal with. This includes full blown vampirism, which can be incredibly annoying to cure the normal way. In this guide, we will help you finish one of the steps included in the process.

In the event that you become a full vampire in the game, intentional or otherwise, you only have very few options to cure yourself of the affliction. The intended way is a long quest that will have you running around collecting various ingredients.

If you are doing the Vampire Cure quest in the game, one of the things you need is the Blood of an Argonian. There is no specific Argonian that you need to draw blood from, so any of them will do.

Basically, you are given a special enchanted dagger, and all you have to do is attack any Argonian once with the weapon. This will trigger the quest progress notification, which is impossible to miss as it pauses your game.

There are so many NPCs to choose from, so just pick whichever you think would be more convenient. Plenty of quest involve fighting Argonians, including the Dark Brotherhood quest line or even the Arena, wherein some of the contenders are of that race too.

If you just want to get it out of the way, there are hostile Argonians in a place called Veyond Cave, which is found directly to the north of Bravil. Just enter it and stab any one of them and leave. You do not even need to kill any of them to gain progress in the quest.

As for the other ingredients needed in the potion, they are extremely easy to find, so you should have no trouble with them. This is especially true in the remaster, as you already own Frostcrag Spire from the start, which has a loaded garden.
