Throne & Liberty: What Items to Get Prior to Talandre Release

What should you get to prepare for the new region?

Throne & Liberty may be on a steep downward spiral in terms of its playerbase over the past few months, but that is not stopping the publishers from releasing new content. Talandre, which has been around in the Korean servers, is finally coming to the global version of the game. In this guide, we will try to help you prepare for it by going over the stuff that you need to get before it releases.

What Items to Get Prior to Talandre Release

The release of Talandre will mark the introduction of new gear to the game, which is essentially just the same but with bigger numbers. As such, this means that the first thing you need to start hoarding are upgrade materials, including growth stones and all of the varying types of ore needed to make them.

Be ready to use the material transmutation feature as well. Start building up a stock of epic items, because you are going to need to start sacrificing them for new resources that will only become available with the new update.

You should also consider holding on to your contract scrolls right now, because these are likely to have new rewards once the update rolls out. On that note, you should also stop spending your contract coins until the next patch for the exact same reason.

It should be noted that the reward pouches that you already have from these contracts will reportedly not gain new rewards with the update. That will only apply to those that you get after the fact, so resist the urge to complete those contract scrolls for now to avoid wasting potential rewards.

On that note, try to have as much abyssal contract tokens saved up as possible when the update goes live. There will be a new open world dungeon that you can start grinding, so having a lot of these on hand will let you get a leg up over other players.

Trait unlock stones might be great as well, since you are probably going to need so many of these once you have managed to get some of the new gear. This is also going to help you make a lot of premium cash, since you can potentially be one of the first to sell the new stuff with traits unlocked.

Other than that, just make sure that you are ready to tackle enemies that are spongier and possibly hit harder than before. Mechanically, the grinds are still going to feel roughly the same, just with bigger numbers really.

That is everything you need to know in order to start preparing for the next update. Just know that servers across the board are going to start merging too, as the player count has gotten so much smaller than launch and they need to do something to make the game’s world feel alive again. This means more competition on bosses, so take advantage of the pre-merge population while you can!

If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
