Stellar Blade has recently gotten a DLC that is essentially just a collaboration with NIKKE, which is a gacha game known for some barely explicit content and very simplified shooting gameplay. If you purchased it and have gotten to the part where you have to do Scarlet and Volt’s Quagmire, then we have a few tips that might help you get it done in no time at all!

Stellar Blade – How to Complete the Scarlet And Volt’s Quagmire Request

All you need to do here is shoot all of the enemies to maintain the blue bar on the top of the screen, which will keep going up in your favor as long as you keep wiping out enemies. There is an endless onslaught that will appear throughout the timer, so there are no shortage of these.

The only important thing to keep in mind here is that you are not invulnerable. Every time you pop out, your health bar will turn white, and this can go down if enemies start targeting you instead. Make sure to pay attention to it at all times so that you do not just randomly die.

Next, you can also heal by killing the green robots that will occasionally show up on the catwalks above the objective. If you are low on health, consider shooting them of using one of your burst abilities. Ideally, you will want to use the one that summons a gunship, as it clears out the screen and, as a result, boost the blue bar a bit.

It is an extremely simple and straightforward task, so just keep yourself alive at all times. Ideally, you will want to use the middle cover as much as possible, because it gives you the best view of the area and ensures that your shots do not hit the environment.

If you are unfamiliar with how NIKKE’s cover shooter mechanics work, this might be a bit confusing at first as it deviates from the usual gameplay of Stellar Blade. However, again, it is very easy to understand, and you should not require too many tries to get it done, if it even takes you more than one.

One final tip we have is that you should consider dropping the difficulty to the lowest setting possible. This trivializes the entire activity and you will have absolutely no issue clearing it regardless of your skill level. If you still struggle on the lowest difficulty, we have no other advice left for you.

And that is all there is to this quick and easy DLC quest. While you are here, make sure to check out our guide on how to start the NIKKE DLC in Stellar Blade if you have somehow stumbled into this without actually starting it yet. It is available on both the PC and console versions of the game, so you are not restricted by any means!
