Beginners Guide, Everything You Need to Know in Soulstice

Soulstice is an action-adventure RPG similar to Devil May Cry. The goal is to learn the truth about Briar and Lute, the protagonists. In the game, the character you are going to play is a Chimera, a warrior that has 2 souls, and they are the only ones that can stop the enemies called Wraiths.

Tips and Tricks for Soulstice

There are 10 tips and tricks for all beginners of Soulstice.

Break everything

If you see a box, crate, and crystal, break them to obtain Cobalt Crystals and Crimson Crystals. These are used in learning new skills and moves that you can purchase from the shop. Each zone has an abundant source of these breakable items. Make sure to explore the area fully to obtain all of the resources.

Proficiency

Each weapon in the game has different strengths and weaknesses. You can upgrade the strength of each weapon by leveling the Proficiency. For example, the weapon, Hand of Retribution is strong against armor but weak against ferocious enemies, and upgrading its Proficiency will allow you to deal more damage to armor.

Best Early Lute Skills

The best Lute skills to equip in the early game are Spiritual Expansion and Unflinching Resolve. Lutes have the Evocation field for attacking ethereal enemies and the Banishment field for attacking Possessed enemies. When you use these fields, Briar accumulates Entropy.

Once it reaches max, you overload and Lute is going to be disabled for a short time. Spiritual Expansion makes the field bigger; Unflinching Resolve decreases Entropy while defeating an enemy that is affected by a field.

Best Farming Spot

The best spot to farm Cobalt Crystals and Crimson Crystals are in Chapter 2 of Act 1 called the Echoes From the Past. It is easy to clear the area and it gives more Cobalt Crystals.

Health Pool and Entropy

Upgrade your max health pool by purchasing the Sturdy Husk Chunk in the shop. Also, minimize your Entropy by purchasing the Iridescent Ethereal Wave from the same shop. You can upgrade each of them to 11.

Unity Upgrades

You can do Synergy Attacks that deals a huge area of effect damage. You can use Synergy Attacks if you have enough Unity. Doing this also gives a better score. Additionally, you can get upgrades in Lutes Offense so that you do not need to have a high amount of Unity to perform a Synergy Attack.

An example of this is Deep Synergy, a skill that reduces the Ashen Vindicator’s Synergy Attack requirements.

Obtain Movesets

Obtain the Roaring Descent and Soaring Descent to do more combos.

Score Ratings

When you finish playing a Chapter of Soulstice, you are graded with a score. The lowest being Bronze and the highest is Diamond. It can be hard to get a Diamond in the early stages so it’s advisable to focus on the main story first and acquire better weapons and skills, then go back to the previous chapters to have a Diamond score.

Learn the Unblinking Skill

The Unblinking skill is essential when you fight the first boss. It allows you to deflect ranged attacks from Medium to High-Class enemies, and the first boss of Soulstice has many ranged attacks.

Complete Challenges

In every chapter of any act, you can encounter challenges. You must always complete them as they reward you with shards and premium loot like a Sturdy Husk Chunk. Some challenges might be hard in the early game but you can still go back to it when you have better weapons and skills.
