16 articlesAt some point in Act 1 of SCORN, you will reach a room with giant shutters that are shut close. Opening the shutters will allow you to reach the ending of the first act. However, opening them isn’t as easy as simply activating a mechanism.
In this guide, we’ll have a look at how you can open the shutters in the game.
How to Open Shutters in SCORN

At this point, you should already have your very first weapon which is this weird-looking rifle. Once you have obtained your rifle, you want to continue forward until you reach the room with the shutters. You will notice a control panel in the middle.

SCORN: Maze Puzzle Solution in Act 4Nov 2, 2022You want to insert your rifle into the control panel. Doing so will slowly lower the shutter to the left. At the same time, it will summon a bunch of flying creatures with large orbs on them. Move forward and hunt down these creatures using your rifle.

After killing the creatures, go back to the control panel and insert your rifle once again. This time, it will play the same scene but on the shutter to the right. Same as the previous one, you want to hunt those creatures using your rifle.
This time, however, you need to head over to the control panel that’s right in front of the meat tree. This is on the other side of the room opposite the first control panel. Interact with the control panel to activate a drone that you can control.
Meat Tree Puzzle

Not far from the drone is a phallic-shaped obelisk. You want to control the drone and fly it over the obelisk to take it. Then, control the drone with the obelisk and move it toward the glowing hole to the right side of the meat tree. After a brief period, a new control panel will then pop up at the root of the tree.
Interact with the new control panel to cause the planted obelisk to twist. This will then open the shutters to the right. After that, go back to the previous control panel and use it once again to control the drone. This time, another obelisk will appear right in front of you.
Take the obelisk using the drone and insert it into another hole in the meat tree at the top. This will spawn another control panel in front of you. Interact with this new control panel as well.
Then, repeating the same steps, go back to the previous control panel to summon another obelisk on the left side. Take it using the drone and insert it into the hole on the left side of the tree. Interact with the final control panel to cause the tree to burst, knocking you out in the process.
