Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak: Gargolda Location Guide | Citadel Rare Endemic Life

One of the newest additions to the Sunbreak expansion comes in the form of new endemic life. One creature, in particular, is extremely rare that you have to visit a specific area during a specific time of the day. This creature is none other than the Gargolda.

If you haven’t encountered this creature yet, then this guide will show you where to find it and what you should do.

Gargolda Location Guide in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak

The Gargolda is an extremely rare bird wyvern hybrid that you can only find in the Citadel highlands. Specifically, you can find it roosting up in the mountains, which means that if you want to catch a glimpse of this new creature, you need to go uphill.

There are certain occasions when the creature descends to the Citadel. Once it does, it will remain still as a statue, but once its wings unfold, you’ll notice a striking gold pattern which is truly amazing to watch.

What makes the Gargolda particularly rare is the fact that you can only find it at night. It can only appear around the cliffs, specifically in Area 4. You can get there quickly via the Sub-camp all the way up to the Relic Record’s location in Area 4.

If there’s no Gargolda in there, simply fast travel to a camp then go back to where it often appears. It might randomly appear, but you should still be able to locate it in a single spot.
