Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a pretty brutal game if you have no prior experience with the first one, and the side quests can be quite annoying to complete because of how easy it can be to get lost. In this guide, we will help you find the document for the Materia Prima quest, which requires you to steal the aforementioned papers.

Where to Find the Troskowitz Document for the Materia Prima Quest

Basically, one of your main objectives is to steal the document from the Troskowitz Rathaus, which should be marked on your map if you are currently doing this quest.

Behind the Rathaus is a flight of stairs leading down to where you need to go to, however, there will be a guard stationed here at all times of the day. You could opt to knock him out, but there is a simpler way to get rid of him.

First, pickpocket him until you retrieve a set of keys. Next, throw stones to distract him, and then sneak down the stairs once he walks away to investigate the noise. Once inside, you are now trespassing, so continue sneaking to avoid detection.

With the keys on hand, keep walking until you find a chest on the ground, right under a light fixture. This is a very hard lock if you plan on lockpicking it. Luckily, the keys we stole from the guard will let you bypass this tough requirement.

Upon opening the chest, you should find a bunch of loot in here, including the Offer of Hermest Trismegistus. This is the document that you need to steal, so just grab it and prepare to leave.

From here, you can safely exit out the same way you came in. If the guard commander is back there, you can try distracting him again before you sneak by, just to be completely sure that you won’t get caught. And that is it for this quest step. All you need to do now is deliver the document to the quest NPC, who should be marked in your map.
