Lady Rosa Ruthard is one of the characters that Henry can have a romance with in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
Lady Rosa is an important figure in Kuttenberg, and also a key ally during the latter half of the game’s campaign. You’ll meet her automatically through the campaign, so you can’t miss meeting her!
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to complete the romance with Lady Rosa.
Lady Rosa Romance Guide | Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
Rosa’s Book
The first part of the Lady Rosa romance becomes available automatically during the “Taking French Leave” main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. One of the objectives will require you to talk to Rosa, who’ll ask you to retrieve a book for her. Agree to help her out.
Now, be careful! The book itself is missable. You can retrieve it while exploring Maleshov Fortress to find Hans Capon. Once you’re inside the Maleshov Fortress, make your way to the kitchen on the southwestern corner of the fortress.
You’ll find Cook Drahomira inside the kitchen. Choke her to knock her out, then loot her while she’s unconscious. She has a bunch of keys on her, grab every single one of them.
Once you have all of the keys, leave the kitchen and follow the path to your right. You’ll eventually reach a tower with some wooden stairs on its side. Take the stairs up to the tower’s door. Be careful so the guards don’t find you sneaking around.
Enter the tower and go up the stairs. Some guards will be talking, wait for them to finish talking and disperse.
Once the coast is clear, finish going up the stairs and turn around. Go through the second door to your right. Lady Ofka is inside that room, so you want to knock her out to stay safe.
Lastly, check near the window to find the book Rosa was asking for. Pick it up and then continue through the quest as normal!
Once you’ve completed the “Taking French Leave” main quest, return to Lady Rosa in Kuttenberg and give her the book. Talk with her after this point to finish reading the book together and complete this step of her romance. Be as positive with her as possible to increase your Reputation with her. You’ll also get the “Tales of Kuttenberg” achievement after reading the book.
Rescue Rosa from Otto von Bergow
The next step to romance Lady Rosa appears during the “Dancing with the Devil” main quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. As part of the quest, you’ll need to negotiate with Otto von Bergow, who has kidnapped Rosa. To continue Rosa’s romance, you need to complete the dialogue while showing that you refuse to put Rosa in harm’s way. If you want, follow these dialogue choices:
“Let’s make a deal”
Select any of the 3 Skillchecks. Doesn’t matter if they fail, just make sure to not mention torching the tower.
“I refuse to put Rosa in danger!”
“I’ll try to rescue Rosa”
“Yes, I’ll do it!”
You’ll now need to fight Bergow’s men. Defeat them all and reunite with Rosa, who will be glad you didn’t try torching the tower with her inside. That would’ve definitely killed any chance at romance you had with her!
The Final Meeting
Now that you’ve completed the previous steps, you need to continue the main campaign until the “Oratores” main quest. You’ll lead Rosa back to her palace as part of the quest. At this point, wash yourself in the palace’s courtyard and then talk with Rosa. Follow these dialogue options here:
“It’ll all be alright.”
“Allies are our most valuable asset.”
“I won’t let you go away!”
“Kiss Rosa.”
A scene will play out as Henry and Rosa spend some time together. This completes the romance will Lady Rosa in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2! You can visit her in her room anytime you want now. She’ll also appear later during the story, but the romance is cemented here.
