With the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 comes even more vague or confusing gameplay mechanics. Even something as simple as finding your own dog, Mutt, can be a bit frustrating at first if you have no idea where to start looking. In this guide, we will tell you exactly where you can find Mutt if you ever tell him to go back home.

How to Get Mutt Back If You Sent Him Home

Simply put, Mutt likes to hang around at certain taverns if you tell him to go home. More specifically, he can be found at either the Devil’s Den or the Wagoners’ Inn at Zhelejov, depending on which region you are currently in.

If you are in the region of Trosky, you will find Mutt at the Zhelejov Wagoners’ Inn. On the flip side, he will be running around the Devil’s Den if you send him home while in Kuttenberg. That is really all there is to it.

KCD2 map locations

Once you get to either of these places, you might see Mutt running around in the area. If you need him around again, just talk to the innkeeper and tell them that you want your dog back. Congratulations, Mutt should now be accompanying you once more!
