Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, just like the first game, has a lot of somewhat realistic mechanics including fatigue and hunger. As such, you should know how to start stocking up on food and even making your own. In this guide, we will very quickly show you how to start cooking at a campsite.

How to Cook at Camps

Once you make it to a camp site, you will probably notice a fire pit with a cooking pot over it. Now this is where most players would think that the cooking pot is where you should cook food, but if you try this, you will very quickly realize that there is no option to do so.

The answer is actually pretty simple. If you take a second to look around the fire pit, you will notice a pan just off to the side of the pot. This pan will give you an option to start cooking items, so just interact with it.

You absolutely cannot miss it. The pan has a very long handle and sticks out like a sore thumb. That is really all there is to it. Just pay close attention to your surrounding and you will notice these little details, as obtuse as they can be sometimes.
