With that cleared up, the first thing you need to do is amass a lot of Alchemy ingredients. We’ve marked a few excellent spots on the map above. They are farms near Anvil, Kvatch, and Skingrad.

Go to each one of these farms and gather every single ingredient you can. This, thankfully, does not count as stealing. These farms also replenish their ingredients every 72 in-game hours, so you can come back to them and restock whenever you want.

Once you’ve harvested all the ingredients you need, use Alchemy to make Potions out of every single ingredient. It doesn’t really matter which type of Potions you make, as their selling price isn’t determined by their type. It’s exclusively determined by your Alchemy skill level and your Alchemy Tools, instead.

Now, you just need to sell your Potions. A great choice is Varel Morvayn, the shopkeeper of Morvayn’s Peacekeepers in Anvil. We also recommend investing in his shop, if possible. It will allow you to sell more Potions at once, speeding up the process.

However, you can’t sell to Morvayn unless you have at least Level 50 Mercantile skill. As an alternative until then, go to the Mystic Emporium in the Imperial City’s Market District. You can sell your Potions to Calindil there instead. This will level up your Mercantile skill so you can use Morvayn’s shop later, as well!

So, there you have it, that’s how to make money fast in Oblivion Remastered! In summary: loot all the farms, make dozens of Potions, and sell all of the Potions. Rinse and repeat until you’re satisfied.
