The January 16, 2025 update for GTA V Online allows you to unlock a rare time-limited Merryweather Hoodie.
All you really need to do is clear one of the specific Priority Files this week before the next weekly update. That and have some patience while Rockstar slowly delivers it to your wardrobe…
In this short guide, we’ll go over all the details related to how to get the Merryweather Hoodies this week.
How to Unlock RARE Merryweather Hoodie | GTA V Online
You can unlock the Merryweather Hoodie in GTA V Online by completing The Black Box File set of missions. This is an FIB Files mission and you can only start it when you own the Darnell Bros. Garment Factory from the Agents of Sabotage DLC. Thankfully, you don’t need to complete any specific optional objectives during the file, at least!
If you don’t own the Garment Factory, you can just join another player who owns it and is doing The Black Box File missions. All players should get the Merryweather Outfit that way. However, we recommend owning the Garment Factory and doing the file as the host just in case.
Note that you also have to complete The Black Box File between January 16, 2025 and January 23, 2025. If you’ve already completed it before this week, you’ll need to complete it again to count. You also will not receive the Merryweather Hoodie if you complete the file after the next weekly update, so keep that in mind.
Once you’ve completed The Black Box File, you just need to wait. It won’t unlock instantly, as Rockstar have stated that it will take up to 72 hours for it to appear in your wardrobe. As of this writing, it seems that no player has reported obtaining the unlock yet.
Nonetheless, that’s all you need to know about how to unlock the rare Merryweather Hoodie in GTA V Online! All you gotta do now is simply be patient as you wait for it to be delivered to your wardrobe.
