Grand Theft Auto 5, despite being ancient by today’s standards, is still going strong with its regular updates to the online game mode. With almost every patch or event, regardless of how small, Rockstar loves throwing in some free goodies that you can earn by just playing the game normally. In the latest update, you can now earn some more free stuff, and this guide will show you exactly how to get them!

Throughout the event duration, which will reportedly end at around the 3rd of March, all you need to do is log in to GTA Online to earn some free stuff. More specifically, you will receive the following items:

  • Carnival Feather Shirt (Men)
  • Carnival Feather Shorts (Men)
  • Carnival Sun Dress (Women)
  • Carnival Feather Dress (Women)

Just check in at any point throughout the next week and you should be able to find these in your wardrobe. There is another additional reward you can earn for free, but it does require you to do something real quick.

Go to any bar in the game and approach the bartender. All you need to do is order any champagne from their selection. After that, you should now receive your very own Carnival Bandana, which has the same theme and color scheme as the clothing options above.

There are a few other things to enjoy with this update, including the return of Motor Wars for a limited amount of time. You can also complete various challenges or take advantage of discounts on certain properties, upgrades, and even premium vehicles.

That is pretty much all you need to know about this update and how to claim some free clothing options, including an accessory that just requires you to uncork some champagne as a way of celebrating the event.

Franco is a writer and avid gamer who spends a lot of his free time looking for the next obscure indie roguelike to add to his collection. If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
