Henry gets caught himself in the middle of a feud as part of the “Mice” side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, ultimately resulting in him needing something to calm a bull.

Now, this is required to paint Olbram’s bull to help Innkeeper Prochek. It’s all part of the ongoing disputes between Tachov and Zhelejov. But, as you might guess, it’s not easy to paint a bull without something to keep it calm… especially since you’re using red paint!

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to calm down Olbram’s bull.

Get Something to Calm The Bull | Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 – “Mice” Side Quest

Lullaby Potion

The “something” you need to get to calm the bull for the “Mice” side quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is a poison of sorts. More specifically, you need at least 3 doses of the Lullaby Potion. Note that Weak Lullaby Potions count as 1 dose, while normal Lullaby Potions count as 2.

Rodovan

You can make this Potion yourself by using Alchemy as long as you have the recipe. Blacksmith Rodovan may have given you this recipe earlier during the quest if you talked with him for the optional objective.

Herbalist Barnaby

Alternatively, you can buy the “Recipe for Lullaby Potion” from Herbalist Barnaby. He’s always hanging around in the woods north of Trosky Castle.

Troskowitz Apothecary

Now, you’ll require 1 Poppy, 1 Herb Paris, and 1 Thistle per Potion. If you need those herbs, you can find them all at Troskowitz Apothecary’s Garden and its surroundings. We’ve marked its location on the map above for you. You might need up to 3 of each, so grab as many as you can!

The exact recipe is as follows:

  • Add Poppy and boil for 1 turn.
  • Add Thistle and boil for 1 turn.
  • Grind the Herb Paris with a mortar and add it to your concoction.
  • Pour the potion into a phial.
Miller Kreyzl Location in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Alternatively, you can purchase 2 Lullaby Potions from Miller Kreyzl at the Lower Semine Hill. You’ll need to have progressed his quest somewhat for his services as a Trader to be available, however. Remember, the standard Lullaby Potions he sells count for 2 doses each.

Putting it in the trough

The objective will automatically complete once you have enough Lullaby Potions. All that’s left is for you to return to the bull and put the Lullaby Potions in its trough. Then just wait for it to drink up and for the potion to take effect. That’s all you need to do!
