Genshin Impact: How to Unlock the Coordinates of Sun and Rain Domain

The 3.0 update in Genshin Impact is huge, featuring a whole new region called Sumeru which is almost as massive as Liyue. Of course, as with every other region, Sumeru features a handful of domains that you can enter to complete challenges and earn rewards.

One of these domains is the Coordinates of Sun and Rain domain. And in order to enter inside, you need to unlock it first. Let’s have a look at how you can do that.

How to Unlock the Coordinates of Sun and Rain Domain in Genshin Impact

First off, you can find the entrance to the southern part of Apam Woods. To unlock it, you need to complete a series of tasks.

Let’s start off with the first one which is completing the Varuna Gatha questline. Completing this quest will unlock the underground cave that you can find in Apam Woods. This will also unlock the waypoint in the area which is the closest to the domain.

With the waypoint available, teleport to the area and start heading southeast until you come across the entrance to the domain. However, you’ll find that a barrier is blocking your way. To take down the barrier, you need to activate the Dendro pillars which you can see around the area.

All you need is to use a Dendro character and start firing at the pillars to light them up. Once done, follow the Dendro trail that will eventually take you to a Dendrograna with a missing core. You will need to restore it by playing the Rhythm of the Sprout with your Vintage Lyre.

If you don’t have the song yet, then you need to complete the Rhythm that Nurtures Sprouts quest in the region. Play the lyre according to the exact order of notes that appear in order to restore the Dendrograna. A prompt saying “Summon Healthy Dendrogana” will then appear. Simply interact with the Dendrograna and follow the Dendro trail.

You’ll then find a pillar with a huge Dendro ring on top of it. Simply shoot at it to completely remove the barrier. Once you’re done, you can now enter the Coordinates of Sun and Rain domain.
