The version 2.8 of Genshin Impact, you will come across a Story Quest called “As the Courtyard in Spring Once Appeared”. This is the quest for Day 2 in the Golden Apple Archipelago which is a returning map that appears temporarily in the 2.8 update.

In this quest, you will have to complete the objective “Investigate the surroundings and find a way to open the door”. If you don’t know how to solve it, then this guide is for you.

How to Investigate The Surroundings and Find a Way to Open the Door in Genshin Impact

As part of the questline, you will reach a room with a lever as well as a closed door in front of it. Once you arrive, you will then receive the objective. It will tell you to look around your surroundings for clues that will help you open that door.

In front of the closed door, you can find special shrines. These are where you need to place a Melodic Omamori to trigger some changes in the surroundings. However, you need to find the Melodic Omamori first.

Luckily, the first omamori is quite easy to spot. All you need to do is turn right from where those shrines are.

Place it on one of the shrines, then proceed to the right to look for the second omamori. This can be a bit long. However, it’s not really that difficult as all you need to do is follow the path and go through a corridor with some traps. These are pretty easy to avoid so they’re no big deal.

You will find the second omamori at the very end. After picking it up, don’t go back to where you came from. Instead, just drop down the hole behind the chest to immediately arrive in front of the door. Place the second omamori on the other shrine.

After doing so, the door will immediately open.
