Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into the Pit is finally here, and it of course features multiple endings including at least one bad ending for you to get.

In fact, there are two known bad endings in the game. One can be obtained as early as the first night, while the other is obtained near the end of the game if you fail to find certain items. Considering the subject matter, we have to warn you that there will be spoilers in this guide! Though we’ll try to keep them to a minimum.

Nonetheless, in this guide, we’ll tell you how to get both bad endings in the game version of Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into the Pit.

BAD Ending Guide for FNAF: Into the Pit

Early Bad Ending – See Ya, Dad

Entrance on the map

You can get this ending as early as Night 1 after diving into the pit at Jeff’s Pizza and ending up in Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. Simply head over to the Entrance, which is on the leftmost part of the pizzeria as shown on the map.

Leaving the pizzeria

Once there, just leave Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria by going through the gate on the left side of the room. Oswald will leave, abandoning his own father and the other kids to their fates. Yet, Oswald himself seems unsure of where to even go from here… and then the credits roll. You’ll get the “See Ya, Dad” achievement for this ending.

See Ya, Dad

You can get this ending on multiple nights, and it’s particularly easy to get it accidentally since there’s no prompt asking if you wish to leave. However, there’s another more involved bad ending in Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into the Pit as well. Do be warned, there will be more spoilers from here on out!

Pit-y Party Ending

Reunited

Technically, this is the default ending of the game and the one you’re most likely to get if you simply play through the game normally. To get it, just complete the game’s story without collecting Dad’s Name Tag and the Strange Photo on the final night.

Dad's Name Tag location

Just so that you know how to avoid them, Dad’s Name Tag is in the right bottom corner of the Storage Room on Night 5. You’ll get the Strange Photo automatically later in the story as long as you have Dad’s Name Tag in your inventory, which will get you a good ending instead. In short, avoid poking around the Storage Room on Night 5 if you want this bad ending.

Having both of those items in your inventory will give you a better ending. If you’ve already picked both of them up, you’ll need to load a previous save or restart the game to get this bad ending.

Pit-y Party

Besides that, you simply need to complete the game’s story by rescuing Oswald’s dad while avoiding those items. Oswald and his dad will both escape the ball pit, but things won’t end quite as nicely for Oswald as he thinks. Watch the ending and the credits will roll!

This counts as the 1-Star ending for the game so you will get the “Pit-y Party” achievement after the credits.

So, there you have it, that’s how to get every bad ending in Five Nights At Freddy’s: Into the Pit. They’re surprisingly easy to get, though I guess a bad ending isn’t really that surprising for a child in the FNAF universe…
