Open the Fallout76Custom.ini file:
- First, navigate to the folder where your Fallout 76 game is installed.
- Next, find the file called “Fallout76Custom.ini” and open it with a text editor.
- If you don’t have a Fallout76Custom.ini file, you can create one by right-clicking in the game installation folder and selecting “New” > “Text Document”. Then, rename the file to “Fallout76Custom.ini” and open it with a text editor.
Add the following lines to the Fallout76Custom.ini file:
Save the Fallout76Custom.ini file and close the text editor.
In order to initiate the process of exiting your power armor in Fallout 76, you will need to hold down the E button for a specific number of seconds. The number of seconds that you need to hold the button for is indicated by the number that appears after the equal sign in the game’s folders.
