In A Plague Tale: Requiem’s Chapter 2: Newcomers you will experience just how vibrant and colorful the new game looks in a beautiful city. That soon turns to gritty black death as things go wrong and you are forced to survive once again.

Part of the Chapter will have the objective of following the Order’s symbols. In this guide, we will teach you where to go and what to do.

First room

After you get inside the room you can see that at its end there is a gap in a tall wall. Your objective would be to get up there: as it is too tall to reach, head to the side room on the right, and push the cart into the main room alongside Lucas.

Slowly orient the cart towards the end of the main room. Once it’s pressed against the wall you are able to climb on top of it and now you can reach the hole in the wall. You advance forward into a passage, just keep going straight until you can see a gap and crawl under it.

On the other side, you will see a guard interrogating a villager. Avoid confrontation and sneak to the doorway on the left, then go to the right to drop into the tall grass below.

Keep advancing forward quietly and you will see a fence. Get behind it and pick up the pot to throw it against the crates nearby to the soldier.

As they get distracted, take your chance and move past the position the soldier was guarding. Advance through the passage and you will see a crossroad: take the right turn, and then you will take a turn to the left when you see an open door to enter a new room.

Head straight ahead and watch the guard through the two windows. As they face away from you, head to the left exit of the room and hide behind the fence.

Left of the fence is another window hole. Pass through it.

You will end in front of a rocky, broken wall. Advance forward in the room while still crouching to avoid detection. At the last segment of the room turn back to look in the direction where you just came from.

You will see crates shining: throw a rock at them and it will distract a guard near a staircase to your left (from the point of view of the image).

Take the stairs up and try to hug the left side of the platform. There will be a metal door just in front of you, open it and you will have cleared the first area.

Dead bodies area

As you open the door you will end up in a room with only one direction to go. Jump off the window in front of you and you will fall among a large pile of dead bodies. You will see a cart in front of you, and the wall to the right of the cart has a hole you have to get into. Like last time it is too tall to reach, so turn to the left and follow the path of dead bodies, you can’t get lost here as there aren’t any more directions.

On the path to the right of the dead pigs you will come across a barricade that stops your advance. Turn around to see a metal crate up in the air, holding a pile of dead bodies.

Equip your sling to shoot the chain holding it up and the crate will fall on the platform below. You can now push on it the same way you pushed the cart at the beginning in the first room, leading it to the wall where you want to get climb up.

In the new place head up the steps. In the end, you will find a board with a knife stuck to it. Take the knife (save it, it’s not worth using until later on in Chapter 3) and the board will fall, letting you crawl under the gap. After you clear it looks to your left and vaults up the wooden structure.

You will come into a room with another metal door. Open it and you will come into the arena, a place with enemies you will have to avoid.

Drop down and hide under the rocks. You will be able to see an archer high above a tower, shooting a corpse. Wait until they turn around and advance to the wooden platform to your right (marked by a blue x on the image).

Take cover on the wall in front of you. You will not go to where the rock steps are but to your left, getting under the wooden tower where the archer is.

There will be stairs there: take them up carefully as an enemy to your left may be looking, when they turn, up you go.

End of the stairs, go through the left way, always taking cover to avoid detection by the nearby guard. An open room will be waiting with a crate that has a pot.

Go back outside the room and use your new pot to distract the guard and make it look in the direction opposite of where they are looking.

Quickly get to the room again and jump off the window that is immediately right off you as soon as you enter the room.

You will see a rock barricade to your left, jump over it to take cover and from there, you can see the metal door. You are able to sneak there quite easily.

Once you have crossed the door the objective is technically over. All you have to do is follow the passage the only way you can and at the end, you will see another door.

As you open it, the follow the Order’s symbols objective is completed.
