Players Beg ARC Raiders’ Developers Not to Nerf the ARC Robots Despite Streamer Complaints

With ARC Raider’s final Server Slam test wrapping up, a lot of players finally got a taste of how the game plays like before it launches this October 30.

Needless to say, the test was successful, managing to skyrocket to Steam’s most played charts and garnering positive feedback at the same time.

During the test, one of the most talked about aspects is the difficulty of the AI enemies that roam the map. These ARC robots were so tough to deal with that a lot of players had a hard time whenever they encounter one on the map.

Due to how brutally challenging these enemies were, there have been some complaints that popped up specifically from streamers.

According to them, the ARC robots are so hard to fight that they suggested Embark Studios to tone down their difficulty.

However, while there have been a handful of these complaints, most players are actually begging the developers to leave them as is.

How Most Players View the Difficulty of ARC Raiders

On a post in the r/ArcRaiders subreddit, user u/G-SW-7892 stated that nerfing the ARC robots can be actually detrimental to the game.

“Seeing a lot of streamers/youtubers calling for the Arc robots to be nerfed as they’re too difficult to fight. The moment you do that is the moment this game turns into your generic extraction PvP game. The Arc is key to what makes this game so special.” they stated.

According to the post, the robots can turn the tide of any PvP encounter. And as such, nerfing them would only take away the magic of the game.

They also pointed out that lore-wise, ARC robots are supposed to be difficult, which explains why the entire population have to hide below the surface to actively avoid them.

Other users also chimed in, with one user saying that while ARC robots are difficult, they can be easier to handle as long as players target their weak spots.

Besides, the game offers a lot of equipment and tools that will allow for raiders to take on such difficulty with ease.

It’s also worth noting that the game only offers low tier gear during the Server Slam test. When the game releases, raiders will have access to even more powerful equipment that will help them take on ARC robots with relative ease.

It’s only less than two weeks before ARC Raiders releases, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
