Isonzo has finally been released a few days ago, and players who were dying for some war-themed FPS can’t help but try this game out. As the game is available across various platforms, it’s understandable that the game will receive many players upon launch.

Unfortunately, there’s a major issue in the game that prevents a lot of players from actually playing. This is because whenever they try to launch the game, they’ll be met with an infinite loading screen. Essentially, they’re stuck on the loading screen until they decide to just turn off the game.

If you are one of those people, then we have just the right fixes for you.

How to Fix Stuck on Loading Screen in Isonzo

There are several fixes you can follow so the game will no longer get stuck on the loading screen. They’re as follows:

Check Your System If It Meets the Requirements

Before you start playing Isonzo, or any game in this matter, you should always check its system requirements. Ideally, you have to check your system if it was able to meet the requirements or not. Most games will have a minimum and a recommended requirement.

For Isonzo, the minimum system requirements are as follows:

  • 64-bit Windows 10 operating system
  • 8 GB RAM
  • Geforce GTX 960 / Radeon R9 380
  • 15 GB available storage space

Meanwhile, these are the recommended system requirements:

  • 64-bit Windows 10 operating system
  • 16 GB RAM
  • NVidia GTX 2070
  • 15 GB available storage space

If you have a beefy computer, then you turn the game to maximum settings. On the other hand, if your computer is just within the minimum settings, then it’s best to go for low settings instead.

If doesn’t fix your issue, then you can try the other fixes below.

Update Your Graphics Driver

Another fix that could potentially solve the infinite loading screen issue is to upgrade your driver. If you haven’t updated your graphics driver in a long time, then it’s most likely outdated. You can fix this by pressing the Windows key + R at the same time.

After that, type “devmgmt.msc” into the blank field without the quotation quotes then press Enter. This should open the Device Manager settings. In the Device Manager settings, look for Display adapters, right click on it, and then click Update driver.

If there are updates for your graphics driver, then the system will automatically download and install it. Restart your PC after and try to launch the game to see if the issue still persists.

Verify Your Game Files

Now, this fix would depend on which platform you’re using. Chances are, some of the game files are corrupted and could be possible culprits for the infinite loading screen issue. If you are playing the game on Steam, you can simply head to Library, look for Isonzo in the sidebar, right-click on it, and then select Properties.

Inside the Properties window, head over to the Local Files section, and choose “Verify integrity of game files”. The process could take around a few minutes, and it should be able to fix any problematic files in the game.

If you’re playing the game on Epic Games, simply head over to your Library, right-click on the Isonzo game, and then choose the Verify option. Same as that of Steam, this process will take several minutes to complete.

Update Your Windows System

It’s also possible that the culprit for the infinite loading screen issue is an outdated system. If that’s the case, then you want to check for any available Windows updates for your machine. To do this, press the Windows key, start typing Windows Update settings, and hit Enter.

Inside the Windows Update settings, check if there’s a blue “Check for updates” button on the right corner. If an update is available, simply Download and Install it and wait for Windows to complete the process.

Restart your computer and then launch your game to check if the issue still persists.
