Grubs are one of the smallest and perhaps the less dangerous bug you can find in Grounded. However, they’re also one of the sneakiest bugs in the game and their hide is important for many crafting recipes. If you’re finding frustrating to catch one or just want to know right now where they are hiding, this guide is for you.
Tools for Grub Hunting
Grubs are burrowers. Even if you know where they are, you can’t do anything to them until you dig them out from the ground. To do this you’ll need a Shovel, which are crafted with 2 Sprigs, 1 Crude Rope and 1 Acorn Shell.
With your shovel in hand, watch the ground carefully for a line of moving dirt and for noise and stab at it with your shovel, this will bring the Grub out to helplessly lay on their backs and wiggle. Grubs can be found in spider caves, caverns and other locations, and will also hide below Acorns, under roots and in dark areas. They are most abundant near the Oak Tree area.
