Slime Rancher 2: How to Get Moondew Nectar | Flutter Slime Food

Caring for the Slimes in your Ranch (in this case, the Conservatory) gives you materials called Plorts. There are different Plorts you can harvest according to the type of Slimes you are caring for.

These Plorts are used as materials for crafting different items in the game. They are also used in specific Slime statues scattered on Rainbow Island so farming them is a must if you want to progress further in your exploration of the game.

Like any farm, the Slimes have different diets according to their type. Some Slimes eat only fruits or vegetables or meat. The only exception is the pink Slimes who eat almost anything you give them.

The Flutter Slimes in the game resemble butterflies. And like butterflies, their main diet is nectar. In this guide, we will be showing you where to get the Moondew nectar which is the only diet for flutter Slimes in Slime Rancher 2.

How to Get Moondew Nectar in Slime Rancher 2

Moondew Nectar can be gathered from the Purple Flowers on top of the Pink Trees in the Starlight Strand. They can sometimes be found on the ground or the walls in this area.

To collect them, use your harvester and suck them into your inventory. After checking for Moondew Nectar on the purple flowers on top of the trees, you might want to look at the ground. Moondew nectar sometimes falls off the flowers and land close to the trees.

The Nectar is also used to feed and Pop the Flutter Gordo which is located by the wall in the Southern part of the Starlight Strand.
