Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: How to Unlock The Forgotten Saga

The Forgotten Saga content update is huge. In fact, it has a whole new realm for players to explore, alongside a new roguelite game mode as well as some new exciting additions. That said, if you want to play this expansion, you need to meet certain requirements first.

How to Unlock The Forgotten Saga in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

The Forgotten Saga is a free update, so all you need is to own the base game and then update it to Patch 1.6.0. Once you have updated the game to its latest patch version, the next requirement is to progress through the story until the point you unlock Asgard.

In order to get to Asgard, you will need to complete the quests “A Wise Friend” and “In Dreams”. The In Dreams quest will task you with collecting a plant which Valka will then turn into a potion. Drink the potion to fall asleep, teleporting you to Asgard via your dream.

After the dream is over, you wake up back in the hut and a new quest called A Gift from the Otherworld will appear. This will task you with speaking to a new craftsman somewhere in Ravensthorpe. Simply track the new craftsman and speak to him.

Once the dialogue is over, a brand new building called Everold’s Workshop will then appear. Head inside the building to drink the potion sitting on a barrel. This will then play a short cinematic which will then teleport you to the dream world of Niflheim where you play as Odin himself.

Then, jump at the ledge to enter the first region of the new area and start the Forgotten Saga storyline.
