Genshin Impact: Broken Isle 3 Precious Chests Puzzle in Golden Apple Archipelago Day 3 Guide

There are tons of puzzles you can find all throughout the Golden Apple Archipelago. Of course, as with every other puzzle, you can obtain some interesting rewards after completing them. One such puzzle can reward you with up to 3 precious chests upon completion.

This specific puzzle can be found on the right island of Broken Isle. It features Pyro Monuments that are underwater, and in order to solve the puzzle, you have to follow a series of steps which I’ll show below. Let’s get started.

In order to even start solving the puzzle, you’ll need to complete the Blazin’ Trials quest first. Completing this quest will allow you to change the height of the mountain via the drum in order to access the entrance to the cave.

This specific cave is where you can find the puzzle. Once you have access to the drum, you’ll need to change the mountain’s height to small.

After doing that, a cave entrance will then appear. Simply enter the cave to start the puzzle. Once you’re inside, you’ll find a locked monument as well as four torches. As you might have guessed, you’ll need to light up all four torches in order to unlock the monument.

After lightning up all torches, the water level will go down, and the next step you need to do is attack the Pyro monument with Pyro or just light it up. Once done, the main puzzle will then show up, but it’s still underwater. So this time, you have to look for a second monument in order to lower the water level once more.

Solving the Main Puzzle

Unlike the first puzzle which involves lighting up four torches, this one will have you looking for the torches all over the place. There’s one you can find in a different cave, but you can just take a shortcut there. All you need to do is use the door which you can find at the end of the cave to open the shortcut.

Once you’re inside the other cave, light up the final torch and then open the gate for later. Enter the door once more to return to the first cave then light up the Pyro monument to lower the water level. You can solve the Melodic Harp puzzle by rearranging the harp that’s facing the entrance which is blocked by tree roots.

You need to rearrange them in a way that when the instrument plays, it will hit the chest in the middle. Once it does, you’ll then be able to loot its contents. You have to interact with the harp at the corner to play the instrument.

After that, head back to the drum to change the eastern mountain’s layout once more. This time, you need to raise the height again to return the mountain to its original form. This will remove the tree roots blocking the musical wall which contains all three chests.

Then, head over to the cave in the middle of Broken Isle. Since you have unlocked the gate earlier, you’ll be able to go through this one and enter the door. This will take you back to the room with the Melodic Harp Puzzle. This time, you have to rearrange the instrument in a way that the final one will hit the musical wall.

After that, the musical wall should no longer be there and you can now finally loot the three precious chests.
